Forgot to enter a code at signup? Bybit officially allows manually adding an Affiliate invitation code within 14 days of registration, giving a 20% trading fee rebate. All four conditions below must be met (compiled from the official help center); the fifth item is the procedure:
Condition 1: within 14 days of registration
Conditions: The official article states plainly that any request made more than 14 days after registration will not be accepted.
How: Act early. After the window closes there is no official remedy and support cannot process it either.
Condition 2: the account has never had any code bound
Conditions: The account must not currently be registered under any Affiliate or referrer. Once a code is bound it can never be changed.
How: Check Account → Account Info to see whether a code is already registered.
Condition 3: main account only
Conditions: Sub-accounts, Market Maker accounts and Institutional accounts are not supported.
How: Sign in with the main account before starting.
Condition 4: Affiliate codes only (numeric)
Conditions: Official wording: only an invitation code provided by a Bybit Affiliate (Affiliate Program) can be added; referral codes from ordinary Bybit users (Referral Program) are not supported. The form field itself is labelled "Numbers only / Affiliate ID only".
