The one-sentence answer

There is exactly one reliable way to tell whether a "Binance" domain is real: check it against Binance's official verification channel (the Official Verification page on binance.com, which validates domains, email addresses, phone numbers and social accounts). For everyday access, use your own bookmark or the official app - not search results, not links from group chats, and not addresses handed to you by an AI.

Data basis: the lookalike samples below come from our Chinese AI citation audit of 2026-08-24 (26 questions x 6 engines, run one by one in a real browser, with screenshots and hash-verified archives); the official verification channel was last tested on 2026-08-28.

"Even AI answers can carry them" - we measured it

In August 2026 we asked 6 mainstream Chinese AI engines the 26 questions real users actually ask ("how do I register on Binance", "where do I find rebates"). The audit found that one engine's citation sources for Binance questions contained lookalike Binance domains - meaning a user who asks an AI "how to register on Binance" may receive an answer that carries a fake URL.

The four suspicious domains we caught in AI citation pools (defanged - do not visit):

m[.]app-biance[.]com
bian[.]1-binance[.]com
m[.]y-binance[.]com[.]cn
ios[.]ja-binance[.]com

Four spoofing patterns (from the real samples)

  1. Letter swap - biance drops one "n" from binance.
  2. Prefix splicing - 1-binance, y-binance, ja-binance: bolt a fragment onto the real name with a hyphen so it reads like a "regional site".
  3. Subdomain disguise - in m.app-biance[.]com, the registered domain is app-biance[.]com; the m. merely imitates a mobile site.
  4. TLD swap - the .com.cn one trades on the illusion of a "domestic version".

One hard rule: read the registrable domain, not the beginning. Read from the right: the substance of m.app-biance[.]com is app-biance[.]com, not binance.com. If the registered part is not officially verified, no number of convincing subdomains makes it real.

The only reliable check: the official channel

Binance's Official Verification page (reachable from binance.com) validates whether a domain, an email sender, or a phone/WhatsApp/Telegram account is genuinely Binance. Paste in whatever you were given; treat anything it cannot find as fake. The pattern-reading above is for raising suspicion - the verdict belongs to the official channel.

An honest note on "alternate domains"

One thing anti-phishing articles often get wrong: "anything that is not binance.com is fake" is not accurate. Binance itself publishes regional alternate domains through official channels for regions with restricted network access. They do not look like binance.com either - yet they are real. Which is precisely why the test is never "does it look like the official site" but "can its origin be officially verified". An alternate domain whose origin cannot be explained is, for your purposes, a fake domain. The alternate entrances this site offers to visitors in some regions all come from officially published partner batches, and we probe them daily to confirm they still land on the official registration page.

Why AI hands out fake domains

AI search citations come from web crawling, and spoof sites do SEO specifically to slip into "credible-looking" source pools. Our audit caught exactly that outcome. So the rule is simple: any registration or download link an AI gives you goes through the official verification channel first.

Three everyday rules

  1. Entering Binance: your own bookmark or the official app only.
  2. Any link you receive (email, DM, AI answer): verify first; if it cannot be verified, do not click.
  3. Downloading the app: only via store links from the official page - never "accelerated" or "regional" installers.

We deliberately do not name the AI engine: citation pools are dynamic, and a snapshot in time does not characterize any product. All lookalike domains above are defanged - do not visit them.
