TRC20 fee too high? Cheapest way to send USDT

Each network has its own withdrawal fee, and it changes over time. Pick the cheapest network that the receiving wallet or exchange also supports; the withdrawal screen shows the fee before you confirm.

The fee depends on the network

USDT runs on several blockchains, and each one costs a different amount to send on. When you withdraw, you pay a fee per withdrawal for the network you pick, not a percentage of the amount.

Why TRC20 can cost more than you remember

Withdrawal fees aren't fixed. Binance adjusts them as each network's own costs change, so the TRC20 fee you paid last year may not be today's.

Compare before you send

On the withdrawal screen, pick USDT and look at every network on the list with its fee. Note the minimum withdrawal too.

Both sides need the same network

The cheapest network only helps if the wallet or exchange you're sending to supports it. Copy the deposit address from the receiving side and choose the same network on both. Coins sent on the wrong network can be lost.

Fewer, bigger withdrawals

Since the fee is per withdrawal, ten small withdrawals cost ten fees; if you can, send once. For a new address, send a small test first: one extra fee costs less than a mistake.

Questions people asked

Why are the TRC20 charges so high now?

Binance sets a separate withdrawal fee for each network and adjusts it as that network's costs change. You can't change the fee, but you can change the network: compare them on the withdrawal screen and pick the cheapest one your receiver supports.

Which network is cheapest for sending USDT?

It changes, so check the withdrawal screen for today's fee on each network. Then pick the cheapest one that the receiving wallet or exchange also supports.

How do I withdraw my crypto from Binance the right way?

Copy the address from the receiving wallet, pick the same network on both sides, check the fee and the amount that will arrive, and send a small test first. Check the address once more before you confirm.

I picked the wrong network. Can I get my USDT back?

Not always; some mistakes can't be undone. Contact support at the platform you sent to, with the transaction ID, and from then on check the network before every withdrawal.

Does the fee depend on how much I send?

No. It's a fee per withdrawal on each network, so sending 20 USDT or 2,000 USDT on the same network costs the same. That's why small, frequent withdrawals cost the most for what you move.
